Can I bring my dog?
No, not in the beer garden. We do have a few tables out the front of the cafe where you can sit with your dog.
Can I request to have a shaded table?
Yes! We now have some big marquees to keep you shaded and out of the rain.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes, you can and there is no charge. We can also offer a ‘cake pack’ for $10 on the day which includes plates, candles, napkins, lighter, knife etc. Just ask one of our friendly staff.
Can I bring my own food?
No, except for a cake.
Can I decorate my table(s)/ Area?
Sure can, we just ask for no confetti or pinata’s… this is because of the amount of litter.
Can we use the pool?
Certainly can!!! Our pool is free to use from 7am till dark.
Does the Hotel have Aircon?
No, but we are lucky to have a great breeze.
Do you have Pokies?
No, we have no gambling at the venue.
Can I make a large group booking?
Sure can, please contact us on info@thecommonwealthhotel.com.au or visit our functions page.
Can we turn down the music for speeches?
Not in the beer garden as this is a shared space.
Can I bring my own music?
No, we have live music every Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday from lunchtime through till dinner.
Can I bring my pub crawl to your venue?
Please don’t! We are a family friendly hotel and pub crawls do not fit in well with our vibe.

We would like to say thank you to the Commonwealth Hotel for making our daughter's 18th birthday celebration amazing on Saturday night. The staff were amazing (as always), the food was brilliant, the musician was fabulous.
